is a flower for showing off in the middle of so many neglected green play or open areas in Brent, one it is just by the park ( Roundwood Road Open Space ), another one is not far (Willesden Sports Ground). Another example is Tiverton Green.
Roundwood Park is around fifteen minute walk, to East where it dawns, from Harlesden Tube Station , Willesden Junction Train- Tube Station , Kensal Green Train-Tube Station or Kensal Rise Train Station .
We promote walking but transports makes this park a local park with aspirations to be something else. There are better served parks (Queen's Park is one example) unless you choose going by car.
Also, it is a place a little bit militarised, such were the number of whistles I heard while surveying it. The 'Stop, you cannot do...' factor is a challenge and the overall feeling is not one of relax. A local park to see and not touch!

Wishful thoughts...Hopeful, one day, this Brent dedication to one park will be extended to all little green patches in the Council.
.... working for ONE award... ...it should be forty! Not awards, for the people...
