PRESTON PARK - a 10 minute walk from the Preston Road tube station.

Turn right, go down right again to Grasmere Avenue, left to Longfield Avenue, and right through Glendale Gardens (a road). In the end turn right again. You'll find a school not far ahead and you will know that you are in the College Road. Pass the school and turn left. There is a small car park that you have to pass by and you will find one of the only three entrances to the park.

It is a local small park, enclosed on all sides by the backyards of residential houses.

The main entrance is on the opposite side, on the way to South Kenton Tube Station (and Northwick Park).

Parks and Friends of Parks, playgrounds and open areas

The bowls and the tennis courts are behind this hedge.

Tennis is expensive. £4/h for adults for bad tarmac.

This park has a warden. The courts are empty. Why?

The Council should consider token prices for different times of the day, week or year. I saw people playing tennis in the winter in other places. Here they are full only when the Wimbledon fever gets those that can pay.

Full cricket size games on weekends

It is a nice place to be, full of shadows. The area for children is well served by tarmac paths.
