F11 to enjoy full screen

This summer of 2003 I had my best surprise (that no longer exists, so enjoy the past). Near the nursery and the car park, past a gate and a field I got to the best preserved small wild life area I saw: beautiful flowers, strange mounds, a pond and very rough plants. Clearly not very frequented! A pity if the contractors are allowed to destroy this area.

NORTHWICK PARK and OPEN SPACE just by the tube station Northwick Park

....

From Harrow-on-Hill tube station it is 15 minute walk. Turn left, left again. Up hill first if through the schools sport fields or follow the road to a round about. Turn right, follow the road. You can go through the hospital or a path (see photo)

A noisy environment because of the busy railway line

the Hospital and the contractors.
From Kenton tube station it is a 5 minute walk. Turn left, left again at the second cross, go all the way, turn right and immediatly left.

The South fields of Northwick Park are at a short walk from South Kenton tube station . Turn left, leave the tunel and turn right.

And it is a 15 minute walk from Preston Road tube station

There is a foot bridge over the rails if you walk straight from Preston station.

There is not a tarmac path to link the bridge to the Hospital or Northwick station and it is very muddy during winter.
Flowers only with a shooting trick or on the side of the rails..
