Royal Festival Hall, before the refurbshiment...
Dancing on a Saturday. The Jazz band did not play music for dance
(only the last piece could be languished interpreted and we did it our way...)
but our 'regulars' live for a 'pé de danēa' roughly translated 'a foot of
dancing', so everything goes and as usual the Foyer was the best place in the
world to be. Well, only Sandra did not like.

| The 'Walsall Jazz Orchestra', bigger than 'our' usual bands
We did not know whether they would perform or not
They were 'conferencing'!
..and they started 'noisy'
And as usual the Foyer, the people, relaxed and knowledgable, imposed themselves
...and the orchestra redeemed itself. All of them, after the Foyer first bath
of fun, came round to our delight.
